 About Valampuri Kaai (Indian Screw Tree):-

The Indian screw tree is a sub-deciduous shrub or small tree with grey-colored bark. Leaves are simple, serrated margin, scabrous above, and pubescent beneath. Flowers are solitary or sparse clusters, with red petals turning pale blue when old. Fruits are greenish-brown, beaked, cylindrical, and spirally twisted on ripening.
