About Maruthani (Henna Root):-
Henna, or Mehandi, is a medicinal herb. Unani and Ayurvedic medicine uuseits bark and seeds. A henna is an erect, medium-sized shrub with many branches. The plant produces white or pinkish flowers in terminal clusters. andsmall round fruits. This plant is famous for its beautiful dye that orientals use on their hands and bodies.
Internal Benefits of Maruthani (Henna Root):-
- Jaundice: The bark of henna plants can be used to treat liver diseases like jaundice or liver enlargement. It is available in powder form from 1 to 5 grams. This treatment is beneficial for liver conditions and other ailments.
- Henna can be used to treat cracked nails. Henna is known to treat cracked nails. Soak the leaves in water overnight and then drink it. Repeat this process for ten days. Mix butter and henna to make a poultice for sores with puss, mange or scabies.
